Edinburgh Designer Double Bill

In May of 2007, The Six Cities Design Festival hosted a series of talks entitled Designer Double Bills that combined the best of Scottish and International design talent.

Zandra Rhodes was one of the new wave of British designers who put London at the forefront of the international fashion scene in the 1970s. She is world famous for her spectacular use of colour and her progressive flair, and has designed for the late Diana Princess of Wales, Paris Hilton, Freddie Mercury and Elizabeth Taylor. Rhodes also designs for a range of other companies such as a china collection for Royal Doulton.

Belinda Dickson OBE is a knitwear designer whose international reputation for quality, colour and modern eclectic style has earned her the affectionate title of "Queen of Cashmere". Before starting her own label Belinda Robertson in 1992, she designed cashmere for Nina Ricci, Christian Dior and Michael Kors.
